Color Outside the Lines
Hey there. My name's Andy. I'm a multi-disciplinary artist based in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Though my journey has taken me to many places, ranging from the South West Desert to New England to the Blue Ridge Mountains and beyond, I have a dream to build a life where I get to enjoy as much of the world as I can. Likely the most unique of my artistic expressions is my painting.
Stemming from a struggle with processing emotions, I derived a way to express myself using color and motion. Many of the best of my works come from times of tribulation and struggle, where the uninhibited release creates the flow of the painting. Between the vibrant colors I tend to use and the unpredictable flow of the paintings, they are sure to bring inspiration and chemistry to any room.
Next on the list would certainly be my portrait work. My focus with these projects is to tell somewhat of a story without words. From the locations I choose to shoot in to the outfits I help to curate, I wanto bring my subject to life; to create a relatable narrative where a story is born. Although sometimes I just like to shoot because it looks cool. My favorite to shoot, thought, is for sure nightlife. I absolutely love to take photos at raves and concerts to capture the energetic release of passion and love. So much expression in a night! No matter what kind of photos I do, I put a perfect picture in every frame.
Soon to come on my page will be my original music works. While this is my least potent medium, it is perhaps my longest running. I started writing in middle school, and never stopped. While my creative journey has been diverse musically, I have learned from professionals on how to better mix & master my work, thus bringing the vision to life even more.
So wherever you explore in my creative portfolio, I hope it stimulates your mind to explore beyond your normal range of thought. Let your mind run wild in color, storytelling, and audio mastery. But most of all, don't forget to color outside the lines.
